THE PROPHET HENS SET FOR ALBUM RELEASE

Dunedin melodic jangle-pop outfit The Prophet Hens consist of Karl Bray (guitar, vocals), Penelope Esplin (keyboards, vocals), Robin Cederman (bass, backing vocals) and Chris Butchard (drums).

Their new single Popular People is a teaser from their forthcoming album The Wonderful Shapes of Back Door Keys, due out in July via www.fishriderrecords.com.

Inspired unusually by The Prophet Hens' first record Popular People Do Popular People, it's about the things people are willing to do, and the situations they end up in, to achieve their goals.

Popular People is streaming now via Bandcamp.
