A YEAR IN REVIEW
Songbroker has had an incredible year of growth with our ever expanding publishing catalogue and a vast array of synchs for our talented musicians. Here is s bit of a rundown of we have achieved in 2016.
THE BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES - Season Three of The Brokenwood Mysteries has licensed tracks from Songbroker artists Jackie Bristow, Glen Moffatt, Payola and Into The East.
The Brokenwood Mysteries consists of eight 2-hour murder mystery tele features. The series has aired on Prime TV in NZ as well as Acorn TV (USA), France 3 (France), DR (Denmark) and Nine Network (Australia).
800 WORDS SERIES TWO - 800 Words is an 8 x 1 hour comedy drama series produced by South Pacific Pictures and Seven Productions. The series premiered in Australia in September 2015 and quickly became the #1 drama on Australian television as well as topping the Tuesday night primetime ratings.
800 Words Series Two is airing now featuring stand out tracks from Songbroker acts Gareth Thomas and Esther Stephens & The Means.
AA HEALTH INSURANCE CAMPAIGN - Working with local agency Rainger & Rolfe, Songbroker artist Greg Johnson re-recorded one of his most popular songs 'Don't Wait Another Day' especially to mirror the poignancy of the AA Health Insurance television commercial. It's a beautiful match we think.
PLUNKET - RAISE A BUNDLE CAMPAIGN - Working with agency Assignment Group, Songbroker artist Pete Fountain created a beautiful piece of music entitled '8.23am' to accompany the latest Plunket Raise A Bundle fundraising campaign. Pete's music blends acoustic instruments with rock/soul and pacific flavours creating accessible yet sincere songs.
FILTHY RICH - Filthy Rich has been a great showcase of NZ music from the Songbroker publishing catalogue. For more info about Filthy Rich head to the Songbroker website.

ISUZU THEME SONG - Songbroker recently licensed the track 'Black Bay Baby' written by Andrew Thorne/Mike Newport as the new theme song for ISUZU.
KFC FOR OGILVY - Songbroker were thrilled to license 'Greatest Ever' by Songbroker artist Twin Cities for the latest KFC TVC. Check it out here.
