SONGBROKER WELCOMES FRAGILE COLOURS
Songbroker is delighted to welcome Tim Julian AKA Fragile Colours to our catalogue.
A Bay of Plenty based writer and producer, Julian has recorded and produced albums for many Tauranga artists in his busy Colour Field Recording Studio since 1998, as well as helping with arrangement and song writing on some projects.
His main instrument is piano and he has supplied keyboard textures for numerous local acts, his bass tracks have also graced a collection of recordings.
Fragile Colours saw its first release in 2015 with Southern Utopia - a collection of songs with co-writer Fred Renata that reflect on New Zealandโs place in the world.
Previously Julian has also written songs for X-Factor contestant, Leilani Taula on her debut album, Sometimes.
Tim sees the Fragile Colours project as a collective of local talent drawing on different styles and moods. Upcoming recordings include an album of songs written for local artist, Kamaea and an instrumental collection with Brilleaux/Tuner bassist Brian Franks.
Both Southern Utopia and Sometimes are now available on iTunes and all good digital platforms, plus streaming on Spotify.
