LEATHERHEAD TO SUPPORT THE UNDERTONES

Waiheke Island rockers, Leatherhead will open for legendary Irish punks The Undertones, at The Powerstation on July 12.

With just a fortnight until The Undertones hit NZ for the first time, final ticket allocation is available now from AAATicketing.co.nz for the Auckland show.

For over 40 years, The Undertones influence has spread far and wide. Their 'Teenage Kicks' single (one of seven chart hits) was the favourite single of all time for greatly influential UK DJ, John Peel.

Leatherhead (Leather Head Consortium) recently released the album Needles – via Last Libretto Records - receiving high praise from critics at home and abroad.

The band features Brendan Mooney (ex-guitarist for David Varian from The Damned), writer / vocalist Bede Taylor, Moik Brennan (bass) and drummer Carl Blutner.
