LOOK BLUE GO PURPLE SONG LICENSED FOR GREY SKATE

A Look Blue Go Purple song has been licensed for a video by James Cruickshank for Grey Skate Magazine, in association with Converse Cons.

The track 'As Does The Sun' has been utilised as the backdrop soundtrack for a video, filmed on location in Marseille, France and starring skateboard stars Mike Arnold, Matlok Bennett-Jones Edouard Depaz, Sylvain Tognelli and Juan Virues.

Look Blue Go Purple were part of Flying Nun Record’s ‘second wave’ (along with Doublehappys, Straitjacket Fits and the Abel Tasmans). Formed in 1983, they honed their sound in a Dunedin practice room under a record shop, where they developed a distinctive style with layered vocal harmonies, keyboards (and even flute) over trademark Dunedin guitar strum and solid tribal beats. They released three EPs before calling it a day.

A compilation album entitled 'Bewitched' is due for release on May 5th.
